How many weeks have you lived? How many do you have left? Enter your birth date and see your whole life as one life calendar — every box is one week.
Prefilled with an example. Change it to see your own life calendar. Nothing is sent anywhere — the whole calculation runs in your browser.
This is a personal reference, not a prediction. 80 is a common starting point.
LifeTies puts your life calendar on your home screen — and shows how many years you still share with your parents, your partner, your children.

You have one box for every week of your life. The number of weeks you have lived is your age in days divided by seven. The total number of boxes is your life expectancy reference multiplied by 52 weeks per year.
The result is a life calendar: fifty-two boxes across, one row for every year. The filled boxes are behind you. The pale boxes are ahead. The one glowing box is the week you are living right now.
Nothing you enter here leaves your browser. There is no account, no cookie wall, and no request to a server — you can open your browser's network panel and watch: the page makes no calls after it loads.
A life calendar draws your entire life as a grid of weeks instead of describing it as a number. It is the same information your age already tells you, but presented so you can actually see it. A sentence like "the average life is about four thousand weeks" is easy to nod at and forget. A rectangle that is already more than half filled in is harder to ignore.
Most people find the grid does something a number cannot: it makes the remaining time feel finite rather than abstract. That is the entire purpose.
Memento mori is Latin for "remember that you will die." It is an old idea, older than Stoicism, and it was never meant to be morbid. Seneca, Marcus Aurelius and the Stoics used it as a tool for prioritisation: if the time is limited, then the question "what am I doing with this week?" becomes urgent rather than optional.
The risk of looking at your remaining weeks is that it turns into anxiety. The useful version of this exercise ends with a decision, not a feeling. So before you close this page, pick one thing: a call to make, a trip to book, a project to start. The grid is only worth looking at if it changes one of those.
Years are abstract; occasions are not. If you have around 37 years left, that is also roughly 37 more summers, 37 more Christmases, and about 1,900 more weekends. For people with ageing parents, the number that tends to land hardest is not their own — it is the overlap with someone else's remaining years, which is why LifeTies lets you add the people you love and see the shared part of the calendar.
Fifty-two weeks and one day — 52.18 weeks on average across leap-year cycles. This calculator uses 52 boxes per row so the grid stays even, which is the convention a life calendar has used since it first appeared.
At a life expectancy reference of 80 years, about 4,160 weeks. At 90, roughly 4,680. That is the entire budget — the whole thing fits in a grid you can look at in one screen.
Multiply your age in years by 52 and add roughly your age times 0.18 for the extra day per year. Or just use the calculator above, which does it to the day from your birth date.
No. The life expectancy number is a reference you set yourself, and the calculator says nothing about any individual. It is not a medical tool and does not predict anything. It is an awareness exercise, nothing more.
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. There is no server request, no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no account. If you close the tab, the date is gone.
The web calculator gives you the one-off number. The LifeTies Android app keeps the grid on your home screen as a widget, adds a weekly view for any year, lets you add the people you love to see your shared years, and holds your wishes and milestones next to the time you have left. It is also fully offline.
